Planning an event is a major project. The goal is always to equip every client with the most information and to be transparent in all situations. Below are some commonly asked questions, to help you make the best informed decision about selecting Elle Kay Events to plan your event.
How many planners work for Elle Kay Events?
La Toya is the only planner for Elle Kay Events. You will work with her from beginning to end and she will be present at your event or wedding. However the Elle Kay Team consist of 4 members plus La Toya. The guest count for your event determines how many team members will be present for your event.
How many weddings do you have in one weekend?
Once a wedding is booked, that weekend is no longer available to other clients. La Toya attends and coordinates all weddings and dedicates her time to one wedding per weekend. If you book with her, she and her team members are there to ensure your wedding weekend is absolutely fabulous!
Do you only plan weddings?
Nope! If there is a reason to celebrate, let's plan an event! La Toya has planned events from birthday parties to children parties to corporate and non-profit agency events to academic commencements. No celebration is ever to big or too small.
I've already booked my vendors, I just need someone to decorate the venue. Do you provide soley decorating services?
Unfortunately, no. Elle Kay Events is solely a full-service event planning company and not a rental or decorating company. Each event is paired with an awesome team of vendors who provide decorating and rental services. However, send La Toya a note using the contact page and she can refer you to some great event decorators.
Is Elle Kay Events LGBTQIA friendly?
Absolutely, yes of course! We are in the business of celebrating love and life events and believe that every one should be celebrated. We also work with vendors who are LGBTQIA friendly. Let us plan the perfect event for you to celebrate your love or life event.
I'm having a destination event or wedding, is that a service offered?
Absolutely! Destination celebrations are the best and La Toya is always passport ready. Getting married on a beach or having a milestone celebration in your favorite city? Not a problem. There are service packages available. As an added bonus, you don't have to live in Chicago for La Toya to plan your destination celebration. She's planned events for clients who live in a different state and hosting their celebration in a different state or country.
Will there be more than one person from Elle Kay Events working my event?
The number of Elle Kay Team members present at an event depends on the number of guests at the event. Events with more than 100 guests will require more team members to be present.
